Service – Process Analysis and Mapping

Good process analysis is key to any change project, regardless of whether it is a business or technology change project, there will always be process change. I will:
1. Analyse and map the current state ‘As Is’ process at various levels of granularity depending on the project type, for example, in a technology project I would map down to a systems and data level of granularity to articulate what might change
2. Analyse and map the future state ‘To Be’ process. Again this would be done at different levels of granularity, may include an articulation of the new Target Operating Model (TOM) and may articulate departments, teams, systems and data
Process analysis on a change project would need to work in tandem with the change requirements and may form part of these and/or the functional specification. I attach a high level BPMN style process flow as a sample.
